Adapted from the novel by Lavinia Braniște, Internal Zero brings together director Eugen Jebeleanu and screenwriter Ioana Moraru for a project that looks both inside and out. The story of a 30-year-old woman who tries to understand life through the eyes of her mother, her lovers and the Bucharest jungle in which she lives is told by combining the illusion of realism with a self-reflexive discourse on the relationship between text, actors and filmmakers.
